As part of my continuing search for transparency and accountability I would like to have job descriptions and names for each of the positions below and a brief description of what each department does so
Some of the department names would seem self-evident, but since there are other departments with what appear to be similar roles, or titles I haven’t seen before, I’m just trying to make a distinction.
I know who the financial controller and budget managers are and generally what they do, but don’t know if Luisa Ott’s position has been filled, whether that function will change or when it will be, so anything who can tell me about that situation, while still respecting confidentiality, would be appreciated.
. I’m assuming that since this information should be readily available it should just be a matter of cut and paste. If no such description exists, I don’t expect you to create something for me, simply say it doesn’t exist. I think that the whole exercise should only take 3-4 hours and would be available before you break for the holidays. With a non-instructional administrative budget of over $30 million and an IT budget of about $9 million I would think that the resources would be available. Additionally, I think the information would be of use to the Board should they decide to increase their fiduciary responsibly in approving the upcoming budget.
As you can see, there are a lot of management positions I haven’t asked about, so I’ve been judicious in this selection and do not plan to ask any further questions until after the holidays other than potential clarifications of issues raised above.
